JAXICLOUD FLEET MANAGEMENT

Data center, operations and data security

Behind maps, events and reports is the infrastructure that receives and processes fleet data. Here we explain published operating information for JAXICLOUD Hosting and the questions to clarify for your deployment.

From vehicle to visibility

Device and sensors

The device records location and readings supported by the installation.

Connection and processing

Data is transmitted to the agreed hosting service and processed there.

Platform and workflows

Users access relevant data through maps, reports or integrations according to configuration.

Security and continuity

JAXICLOUD describes Tier III data centers, continuity plans with RPO and RTO, regular recovery testing and external penetration testing at least annually. Access follows the least-privilege principle. Gurtam, the platform developer, reports ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

This information concerns the supplier’s infrastructure and processes. It does not establish that JAXICLOUD owns these data centers or has independent ISO certification.

Certificates and documentation

What to agree for your deployment

Hosting region

Confirm the actual location of your account and any data transfers.

History and retention

Retention periods, data types and export options depend on the deployment and agreement.

Recovery and access

Clarify relevant RPO/RTO values, user permissions and the support procedure for your account.

Questions about your data

Is our data automatically hosted in the Netherlands?

No. The general data center page does not establish this. Confirm the hosting region for the particular account.

Is 99.984% a future guarantee?

No. It is the supplier’s published result for 2025. The applicable service level follows the agreement for your deployment.

What do RPO and RTO mean?

RPO describes the target data-loss window, measured in time, used in recovery planning. RTO describes the target time for restoring a service after an interruption.
